Our Next Event:

Business analysis in an agile age

Wed 22nd Oct, 7:00 for 7:30pm Bournemouth University, Room TBC

Synopsis

In recent years, agile approaches to systems development have rapidly gained ground against more traditional, plan driven, approaches. The familiar business analysis roles are being questioned; some even argue that the need for the role, at least in its traditional form, is being made redundant because of alternative possibilities offered by agile.

This presentation argues that business analysis and business analysts will continue to have important roles supporting and being integrated with the agile and architecture communities helping organisations to maximise the value of investments in software projects and to achieve business agility.
