Synopsis

In this talk Steve Marshall will talk about the major UK initiatives in Payment Processing during the last twenty years. For the majority of this time Steve held roles in Barclays and at Apacs (now UK Cards). Steve will talk about the UK's development of and move to Chip and Pin (and what it has enabled) and the rapidly growing use of Contactless and mobile transactions touching on the key elements of what is required to make initiatives become a reality.
